TruPower was founded and built on more than 14 years of hands-on solar service and O&M experience, and collectively nearly 20 years of electrical field experience across residential, commercial, industrial, educational, and public-works environments.

Working on systems after installation provides a perspective that installation alone cannot. We see how equipment ages, how workmanship affects reliability, where recurring failures develop, and what causes unnecessary downtime. That experience guides everything we do — from preventive maintenance and corrective service to new electrical, solar, battery, and backup-power installations.

For EPCs, asset owners, and property managers, TruPower provides a field-focused O&M partner committed to system uptime, clear reporting, practical troubleshooting, safety, and long-term reliability. For homeowners, it means working with a contractor who understands not only how to install a system, but how it should perform years after installation.

Founder Experience
Before founding TruPower, Julian Trujillo, a U.S. military veteran, built his career working on electrical and solar systems in schools, public-works facilities, commercial properties, industrial environments, and large-scale solar sites. His field experience has included work at facilities associated with major retailers, logistics companies, school districts, hospitals, and government agencies, as well as projects outside California.

Nearly two decades of electrical field experience — including more than 14 years in solar service and O&M — now shapes TruPower’s standards for workmanship, serviceability, safety, and long-term performance.
